Lead Time
Lead times may vary depending on the type, scope, complexity, and requirements of each project. Adhering to the specified lead times for different projects enables proper scheduling, efficient production workflow, resource allocation, and quality control, ensuring that all deliverables are completed on time and according to the agreed standards.
To help set expectations, we’ve laid down a timeline for each creative project requested to us for production and/or ASC application:
Articles
Lead Time: 8 to 10 working days
This includes proofreading of the article’s content, curating photos, getting approval from the brand of the entire content (including the final photos and layout), and submitting it to publication agencies prior to ASC screening.
Captions and Layout Copies
Lead time: 3 working days
At least one day is allotted for proofreading and/or translating non-Tagalog copy.
Static Graphic Layouts
Lead time: 3 working days (1 day for resizing of layouts)
For bulk requests of more than five static graphic layouts, the time allotted may be extended from five working days to 10 at most, depending on the graphic artist’s current workload.
GIFs (Graphics Interchange Format)
Lead time: 5 to 10 working days
Requestor should provide a storyboard for the GIF, especially the number of frames, to help guide both the copywriter and graphic artist before producing the said frames in the material.
Audio-Visual Supervisor Jojo Gimarino before getting the brand's approval.
If the GIF material should require less than four frames, the lead time may be slightly reduced to four to seven working days at most.
PR Materials
Lead time: 3 working days (with complete details)
This includes company announcements on IPI’s social media platforms like Facebook or its company website, IPI-focused articles (e.g. product launching and outreach programs), and birthday greetings for brand ambassadors and endorses.
Should brands be explicitly seen or mentioned in these requested materials, regardless if there are claims or not, they must still undergo ASC screening and clearing.
ASC S1 Screening
Lead time: 4 working days
One day is allotted to allow the ASC Liaison Team led by Jasmin Pacheo, ASC Senior Liaison Officer/Supervisor, and the DAP copywriter team to review the S1 materials, including the support documents.
During the allotted day, regulated drug brands/products will be submitted to Dr. Rhodora Jayme for her signature before being applied for ASC S1 screening.
Please be reminded that the processing time for ASC to screen and clear advertising materials takes approximately 24 to 48 hours.
ASC S2 Clearing
Lead time: 4 working days
One day is allotted to allow the ASC Liaison Team led by Jasmin Pacheo, ASC Senior Liaison Officer/Supervisor, and the DAP copywriter team to review the S2 materials, including the support documents.
Please be reminded that the processing time for ASC to screen and clear advertising materials takes approximately 24 to 48 hours.
